A delegate of Edinburgh TV Festival’s Ones to Watch scheme and the BBC New Director’s Initiative and a recipient of the Netflix Documentary Talent Fund, I am a documentary Shooting Producer / Director / Series Director / Edit Producer with in-depth trauma training and camera training from industry DOPs. I grew up between County Kerry, Ireland and Southwest England - two places I call home.
I take pride in self-shooting observational actuality to the highest of standards and my ability to shape impactful and honest stories, whether unfolding or retrospective. Having previously worked as a producer, I’m experienced in developing and maintaining trusting and transparent relationships with contributors and national organisations. I believe that when handled well, documentaries can be cathartic and empowering for their subjects and I dig deep find a sense of hope in the stories I tell - even within the most challenging circumstances.
