Hard Up is a series that I developed, securing a commission from BBC Three, and directed with Marble Films. This documentary series set in North Devon, explores the lives of young people who are pursuing their dreams whilst navigating poverty and limited opportunities in deprived communities. Through intimate, observational storytelling, the series follows individuals and families as they face the challenges of unemployment, housing insecurity, and the social pressures of life on the margins, offering an unflinching yet empathetic portrait of resilience and ambition in the English countryside.
